Krista Johnson awarded a CADFP Fellowship

Krista Johnson, Director at the Center for African Studies (CfAS), Howard University, and Professor Ade Adebajo at the University of Johannesburg were recently awarded a Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship for the upcoming year. As a CADFP Fellow, Dr. Johnson will be hosted by the Institute of Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC) at the University of Johannesburg, and will be engaged in collaborative research and curricular co-development with Institute faculty and graduate students. CfAS at Howard and IPATC at Johannesburg also plan to co-convene a conference on U.S.-Africa Policy from the Cold War to the Present during the 2021/2022 academic year. CfAS will host a virtual symposium in February 2021 on US-Africa Policy and HBCUs that will build into the larger conference.
