UNDP’s Africa Bureau and the Office of Historically Black Colleges and Universities Development & International Cooperation (OHBCUD) hosted the 2nd annual Virtual Courses on Economic Transformation in Africa & the African Diaspora. Using distance learning technologies, a select number of HBCUs offered a suite of courses that was open to promising students and professionals living and working in Africa.

These courses aimed to promote SDG #4: “ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning,” and strengthen academic and sociocultural goals among universities across the African continent and beyond to advance educational outcomes for all persons of African descent.
