Newzroom Afrika speaks with Howard faculty and student regarding US elections

Our director, Dr. Krista Johnson, was interviewed by Newzroom Afrika on the US election on Tuesday.

On Monday, Xoli Mngambi of Newzroom Afrika, the South African news channel, interviewed Tariah Hyland, VP of Howard University's Student Association, regarding the US elections and student activism.

Then on Tuesday, Thabo Mdluli of Newzroom Afrika spoke with Dr. Krista Johnson, Howard University's Center for African Studies' Director, regarding the likely results of US elections, given population changes and what this means for both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Mngambi also spoke with Dr. Rubin Patterson, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Howard University, regarding Harris' inspiration to students at the institution.

On Wednesday, Mngambi spoke to Dr. Sipho Sithole, lecturer at the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Howard University, about the implications of the US election results for South Africa and the continent.
