Call for Africa Study Abroad Photos and Stories 2024

Dear students,

For a chance to be featured on the Center for African Studies social media, website and newsletter:

During your study abroad program, submit your photos along with a couple of sentences about an impactful memory from your study abroad.

If you would like your story to be highlighted in a full page article on our News Page, and shared on social and in newsletter:

Submit a full story about your study abroad experience in 3-5 paragraphs with 1-6 photos.

Any student participating in a Howard study abroad program or an individual journey in Africa or through a FLAS fellowship is eligible for submission. 

 

Please include these details in your submission:

• your name, major, undergrad/masters/phd program
• title of story
• where you traveled
• name of study abroad program
• if you had any funding such as a FLAS fellowship
• your photos
• your story!

Submission timeframe: June 1st - September 1st, 2024
