Ghana at the Center

The Outreach Program at Howard University’s Center for African Studies invites educators to participate in our ‘Ghana at the Center’ initiative.  Each February during Read Africa Week, we launch the study of a different African country.  In 2017 our country of focus is Ghana.  To support the study of Ghana, we have created Ghana Resource Kits that educators can borrow from our K-12 library.  Each kit contains books and other materials that support reading, teaching, and learning about Ghana. To borrow one of our Ghana kits email us or call.  We can help you select the titles most appropriate for your grade level.

Online instructional materials on Ghana are available on AfricaAccess' Ghana at the Center page
