Women and Gender Studies Collective (WGSC) at Howard University celebrates International Women's Day and the Howard Sesquicentennial by inviting two distinguished global leaders, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (former Managing Director of the World Bank) and Congresswoman Karen Bass of California to discuss the "Internationalization of Black Consciousness and Gender Equity." The event will be marked by a conversation on women's global leadership and student poster displays of women around the world.
