Ugandan Ambassador Robie Kakonge Welcomes Howard Students
Howard University students had the distinct honor of being hosted by H.E. Robie Kakonge, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda, in celebration of Black History Month on Thursday, February 26.
We are deeply grateful for the Ambassador’s generosity in opening her residence to our students for such a meaningful and engaging conversation. The opportunity to dialogue directly with a diplomat, ask thoughtful questions, and gain insight into international affairs and U.S.–Africa relations was truly invaluable.
Moments like these expand our students’ perspectives, strengthen global connections, and inspire them to see themselves as future leaders on the world stage.
Thank you, Ambassador Kakonge, for your leadership, hospitality, and commitment to mentoring the next generation of global leaders. We look forward to future events with the Embassy.
